Trenton promotes Josh Shipman to head football coach

The Trenton Tigers have promoted defensive coordinator Josh Shipman to become their next head football coach. Former coach Bret Cranford has resigned after four seasons with the Tigers. This will be Shipman’s first head coaching job. Cranford has led the Tigers to an 8-32 record with no trips to the post-season. His previous coaching job was at Blue Ridge from 2004 to 2005.
