The Snook Bluejays have hired La Porte defensive coordinator Michael Patterson to be their brand new head football coach after seeing the resignation of their most successful coach in the school’s sporadic, but short history came to fruition. For Patterson, this will be his very first head cozching opportunity.
Patterson will be replacing Chad Lechler, who led the Bluejays for four seasons and held a 20-23 record including a trip to playoffs in 2016. That 2016 playoff appearance for Snook, was the school’s first ever playoff appearance and included the school’s first ever playoff win over the Rocksprings Angoras. Last season, Lechler guided the Bluejays to a 9-3 record.
