Mount Enterprise hires Jenkins as new head football coach

The Mount Enterprise Wildcats have made a move hiring Tenaha Tigers defensive coordinator Jeremy Jenkins as their new head football coach. Jenkins served as the Tiger DC under Greg Jenkins, who resigned his head football coaching position to focus on basketball and the school’s AD role.

Jenkins replaces Scott Holzhauer, who led the Wildcat football program to three playoff appearances in eight seasons. Holzhauer, who has a career record of 48-58, was 4-3 in the playoffs during his tenure. Prior to joining Mount Enterprise in 2011, his other head coaching stint was during the 2004 and 2005 seasons with the Cushing Bearkats.
